not sure if this is the correct spot for this but here it goes. when i look at my kurzick title bar it says how many points i have donated. but points can only be donated in blocks of 1000 or more. so how is that i have 6,990,490? i don't understand how i got the 490. can anyone explain how that happened?

I don't remember a time when you could donate/get kurz or lux title points in anything other then 1000s. Dose that quest that you need 10k points for take all your faction you have at the time, even if its more then 10k? Maby you had an extra 245 points or something because you can now have more then 10k at once.

you might be looking at how much you've earned total, not how much you've donated.

That number does not reflect what you have donated, but rather the total amount of faction you can accumulated/earned on your account. This equals your current faction + what you have donated in the past.

Don't know if this is true but I've heard that very early after Factions was released you could donate any amount of Faction, thus getting ugly numbers in the title.

The reason for this is that it also counts faction that you have lost due to using luxon faction. :P

Think this is semi-correct, early in factions the donation was the same, but when you lost the other type of faction, kurzick in this case, whatever amount you lost you go to the title instead of just being lost.
So to be clear, you could donate 5k luxon faction and lose 490 kurzick faction, kinda geared to this instance, and the 490 would count towards your kurzick title.
At least I'm assuming it worked that way as I asked this question on wiki a long time ago.

you are incorrect. i know which bar i'm looking at and understand what i'm reading. i am not talking about the bar that is in the same menu as balthazaar faction and luxon faction. i am talking about the bar that is under the TITLES tab on the hero menu. and to the rest that gave actual reasons for how this happened, thanks. i was unaware that donating luxon faction early on put whatever kurzick faction i had into the title.
